I have no formal training in mental health or psychiatry, but it’s been my experience that if you are proactive with your health, if you exercise regularly and take the steps necessary to maximise your health, you’ll be rewarded both physically and mentally. Exercise has been proven to relieve stress. It’s also been my experience that if you combine your exercise with the comeradery and competition of sport, the effect is even greater. Service to others has also been critical to my well-being. Coaching combines all of the above.
