Dr. Zach Bio

Unbeknownst to him, Dr. Zach LaBoube’s journey into the chiropractic profession began when he was involved in a fatal car accident as a teenager that took the lives of his mother and sister. His surviving sister had multiple fractures in her lumbar spine, requiring several surgeries. While his injuries were not as severe, it was his chiropractor who kept him on the basketball court and the baseball diamond. He continued to play basketball at Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Following his university studies, he engaged in legislative work at the state capital in Missouri, but it didn’t take him long to realize that the cutthroat business of politics was not his calling. There was a better way to serve…

Leaving the capital for chiropractic school

Leaving the capital, he enrolled at Logan University, earning a second Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and a subsequent Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Zach is a published author and the founder of a vitamin supplement line in the United States called InsideOut Wellness. His book, HCG 2.0 – Don’t Starve, Eat Smart and Lose; A Modern Adaptation of the Traditional Diet has has 960 reviews on Amazon and carries a 4.3 star rating. It’s helped thousands shed unwanted fat, and furthermore, make the positive lifestyle changes needed to keep it off.

Leaving the US to practice chiropractic abroad

The combination of his vitamin line and his book enabled him the freedom to close his brick and mortar practice to extend his services to seven different countries, including Peru, Colombia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Singapore.

His international experience has enriched his ability to understand and treat his patients. Dr. Zach notes, “Working abroad has taught me as much as I’ve taught my patients. American Chiropractic seamlessly aligns with holistic healing techniques from around the world.” This global perspective has made him a pioneer in the field.

Dr. Zach’s dedication extends beyond his patients to encompass a profound commitment to animals. He has fostered a diverse range of creatures worldwide, including goats in Puerto Rico, pit bulls and owls in Bali, a Katydid named Flip, and an abundance of cats wherever he travels. Recently, he undertook a rescue mission in Phnom Penh, saving seven kittens afflicted with the Parvo Virus. Despite the loss of three, the remaining four now enjoy a healthy life on Koh Rong. Those interested in their story can find them at Frederica’s Bar on the 2nd floor, located directly across from the pier—a heartwarming testament to Dr. Zach’s compassionate nature.
